As a classification society, the founding member is better known as ClassOBS in history. We provide rules for design of the vessels, their survey, and the issue of certificates of compliance.
In order to ensure the safety of the ships at sea, ClassOBS provides a full range of survey, auditing, and services, including vessel safety and statutory surveys, ISM, ISPS, and MLC certification, material and equipment certification, and occupational health and safety management systems in accordance with recognized standards.
